NEG - National Emergency Grant:
LasComp Institute is the approved school for the National Emergency Grant Program (NEG).
National Emergency Grants (NEG) are discretionary awards by the United States Department of Labor to provide assistance to financial services workers who were dislocated on or after 6/1/08 from a list of grant approved financial services firms that had substantial layoffs. The NEG funds will be used to provide training services to eligible affected workers for training to be completed by December 31, 2010.
Only individuals who were dislocated from one of the 31 employers listed below after May 31, 2008 may be eligible for Training assistance under this federal grant up to $12,500.00.
